Custom Whitening Trays
Whitening trays are recommended to get tough stains out, including tetracycline staining. If you choose this method, we’ll begin by taking an impression of your teeth to create your custom-fitted whitening trays right here in our office.
At home, you’ll fill the trays with carbamide peroxide gel to whiten your teeth. You wear the trays for one hour a day. The whole process takes about three to four weeks, but you’ll begin to notice results even sooner.
We use Opalescence Gel in various strengths, and your dentist will recommend the right strength gel for you. Your custom trays protect your gums from the strong whitening ingredients.
After your treatment is complete, you can still use your trays periodically to maintain the brightness of your smile.
Professional Strength Whitening Strips
We also offer professional-grade Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal. Though you can buy Crest Whitestrips in a store, they won’t be as strong or remove as many stains as the white strips we provide.
These strips are really easy to use. You just wear them for an hour each day. If you notice sensitivity while using them, try wearing them every other day. This sensitivity is fairly normal and should go away after a while.
